A finished video podcast episode from ikone productions costs between €1,950 net (Munich studio) and €3,950 net (shot on location at your premises). If we record several episodes on one day, the price per episode drops, for example to €2,250 for two episodes on location. Audio episodes start at €860.
The price depends mainly on three things: the number of episodes, the production effort (studio or mobile, number of cameras) and the scope of post-production.
A single production is the easiest to book and simple to budget. A season means more planning, dramaturgy and coordination, but gives you continuity and reach in return. ikone productions prices transparently based on your project: per season for a recurring format, per shoot for one-off productions.
All prices on this page come from our 2026 price list. In the initial call, we work out the actual figures for your project. This page explains which factors determine the price, so you can plan realistically.
2026 prices at a glance
- Video episode in the Munich studio
Studio half day of up to 4 hours including crew (€1,400) plus video episode package (€550): from €1,950 per episode. A full studio day of up to 8 hours costs €2,200. For several recordings, the production day is charged only once.
- Video episode at your location
Two-person crew with three cameras, lighting, sound and direction (€2,000), set building (€600), travel and logistics anywhere in Germany (€800) plus video episode package (€550): €3,950 for one episode, €4,500 for two episodes on the same shoot day.
- Audio episode
Recorded remotely, including direction, editing, mastering and upload: €860. In the Munich studio with three social clips: €2,220.
- Format development (one-off)
Workshop on format and production planning: €3,000 as a half day remotely, €6,000 as a full day in the studio or at your premises. Optional add-ons: motion design package (€1,500) and your own sound branding (€1,200).
- Studio rental without crew
You bring your own team: €750 per day. More on our podcast studio rental page.
The video episode package (€550) includes editing, colour grading, mixing, graphics, German subtitles, two vertical social clips and the upload, for episodes of up to 60 minutes. Delivery within 5 working days, one feedback round per episode. All prices net plus 19% VAT, as of July 2026. Tiered terms apply from three episodes and for ongoing formats; your individual quote is what counts.

Is a video podcast more expensive than an audio podcast?

How do we pay?
Unless otherwise agreed, with a 50% deposit on order confirmation and payment due within 14 days. For seasons, we agree a separate payment plan. We put the terms in writing before production starts.
Are guest booking or location included in the price?
Not by default, but on request. We list additional services such as guest booking, external locations or hosting transparently and separately.
